We may only be in April, but 2016 is already shaping up to be a huge year for the Chalk & Ward PR team, as we continue to grow and add to our ever-increasing list of fantastic clients and partners.
Here at Chalk & Ward we are all about challenging ideas and getting the best results possible for our clients, and to do that you need the best people. That’s why we’ve been adding to our team, welcoming a new Account Director in Katie de Pelet, who brings with her a wealth of knowledge and strategic expertise, specialising in professional services, property and retail.
Bea Gorman, Account Manager, joined the Chalk and Ward family in December and has already secured some excellent coverage for her clients, utilising her vast expertise in travel and tourism. And finally, Joe Chudley also joined us in March, whose background includes PR within the public sector, education and healthcare.
We’re delighted to have some of the best clients in the South West, working together to research, plan and implement engaging PR campaigns. New clients include Powderham Castle, host of this year’s Radio 1 Big Weekend (you may have heard about that one once or twice…), CleanEarth Energy, a leading provider of renewable energy to businesses across the UK, and Eluma Columbariums, an innovative new venture set to revolutionise the way we remember and commemorate our loved ones.
As you’d expect, the team has hit the ground running and has already achieved some fantastic results on behalf of these clients. In addition to national coverage for the Radio 1 Big Weekend, Charlie Courtenay and his wife AJ, whose family home is Powderham Castle, appeared on the front page (yes, the front page!) of The Times last Saturday, as well as securing an impressive six-page lifestyle piece in The Times magazine. And if that wasn’t enough, Charlie also appeared in a brilliant article in April’s Devon Life magazine, talking about his return to the Castle and their exciting plans for the future.
Friday 9th April was also an evening of celebration for one of our longstanding clients, Van Guard Accessories, who scooped two awards at the Exeter Express and Echo Business Awards 2016. Not content with just winning the Innovation Award, Van Guard Accessories also claimed the prestigious Business of the Year title, recognising an exceptional year and all the hard work by the team.
We’re thrilled to be working with these brilliant clients, and to be trusted in showcasing some of the most exciting businesses that the South West to offer.
