Since 1837 P&O Cruises have been sailing the ocean waves and now have 8 cruise liners that regularly visit many destinations including Africa, USA and The Middle East. Keen to encourage a younger demographic into cruise holidays, P&O wished to promote the many activities, entertainment, dining and services available on all of their cruise liners.
We suggested creating a television advertising campaign as well as a print advertising campaign that used slick, stylish and luxury imagery to convey the experience that holiday makers would have whilst onboard. P&O Cruises had previously handled all such national, customer acquisition campaigns in-house but, due to time constraints, needed some last minute support. We stepped in and turned round a full press media campaign, creative concept and multiple artworks, together with a national POS campaign all in just one week. We hit every deadline for over 50 press titles, each ad carrying specific offers. Not only was the client impressed with the immense attention to detail and ability to turn round such a huge job so quickly, but even happier with the sales generated.
We also developed the “Movies with the Stars” print advertising concept, designed, sourced all the elements and promotional items, and managed fulfillment of this highly successful direct marketing campaign.
