I find when times are tough I attempt to solve things on my own, but that’s not effective or efficient. Speaking with close friends and/or family helps to prioritise what actually is important. It helps to relieve stress and most of all to provide context, which you can lose when you keep it all inside.
Putting time and energy into the things I find enjoyable really helps me; often people overlook the need to focus energy into hobbies. Furthermore, people might feel that enjoyment is a given, when really it can require a little more attention than you think.
And secondly, speaking to people doesn’t mean your weak or vulnerable it can be a great way to see a situation from a different perspective.
