This month we are proud to have unveiled a stunning new website for our client, Southern Healthcare.
The company owns four individual, multi-award-winning care homes in Exeter, Plymouth, Seaton, and Dawlish, which are also highly rated by the Care Quality Commission.
Filming creatively and safely in the care homes
The challenge was to present the unique nature of the homes and the innovative approach Southern Healthcare takes to the provision of care.
The project was very much a C+W team effort – involving our creative, digital and PR departments.
The centrepiece was an emotive film – directed and edited by our Managing Director, Robert Chalk.
Shooting this was a challenge to say the least, with the homes being closed to visitors because of the pandemic. To get around this problem, it was decided to film outside – with careful planning involving the long-range weather forecast.
Blessed with a sunny couple of days late last summer, the film crew were able to capture powerful interviews with the Southern Healthcare management team, along with touching shots of residents enjoying the many outdoor activities on offer, plus some panoramic drone footage of the homes and their surroundings.
A production to be proud of
It is fair to say the resulting production had both the client team and ours in tears!
The film is a central part of the new website, where the imagery, vibrant colour scheme and compelling content are enhancing our ongoing PR and SEO work.
